Belonging has often been a prevalent question in the Bangladeshi community. From the liberation war to now, leaving home and settling in different metropolitan cities in search of a better life, the question of “where do we belong?” comes to the forefront.

In this short film, ⅓ owner of Taj Stores in Brick Lane Shoreditch, Joynal Muhib shares the history of his store and his family. This film is both a celebration of the lives of British Bangladeshis and the many achievements we have yet to make.
