Fatima Yasmin is a British Bangladeshi Filmmaker and Photographer.
In her work, Fatima explores the complexities of the British Bangladeshi diaspora, faith and the migrant experience.
Fatima's latest film, ‘I Need To Talk to God’, has been produced by Apple Creative and Fully Focused. It was screened in Finsbury Park Picture House, where it received critical acclaim for its emotional storytelling and powerful cinematography and has been featured in GUAP Magazine.
In addition to her filmmaking, Fatima has exhibited her work in a range of spaces, including Copeland Gallery, where she screened her short film ‘Water from Heaven’ which explores her religious faith and connection to water.
Fatima's background in film and photography is rooted in her studies at the London College of Communication, where she recently graduated with honors.
